On 26,Dec,2001,Chinese Giant Panda Pressrving Base of Bi Feng Xian in which the Giant Panda Ecological Park laid its foundation stone, which marked the operation of the biggest base in the world where giant pandas are haif wild brad.The garden is invested by the National Forest Buraeau.In the first project the nation invested 30,000,000 RMB.And the project is divided by for functional zones(raising and breeding area working and living area,bambo area,and wild living train area) which will open in Dec.2002.At that time,over 16 giant pandas will live there and Three years later,the number is expected to reach 40.The gorge will be a base for studying giant panda,propagating and education,ecological tour.
